  • You become injured and can't ski for the rest of the season.
  • Someone in your family has an illness or injury.
  • You or a traveling companion loses their job and they’ve been with their employer for at least one year.

  • You or a traveling companion has an involuntary job transfer and must move 100 or more miles away.

Can I use the 2013/14 Mountain Collective pass for the Spring 2013 season?

No, this pass is not valid for Spring 2013. It is only valid for the Winter 2013/14 season.

Which destinations are members of the Mountain Collective for 2013/14?

The Mountain Collective is an unprecedented collaboration between the world’s best independent destinations and now includes for the 2013/14 season: AltaSnowbird (UT), Aspen/Snowmass (CO), Jackson Hole (WY), Mammoth (CA), Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows (CA), and Whistler Blackcomb (BC).

What do I get when I join the Mountain Collective?

You will receive two free days of skiing or riding at each of the following destinations: AltaSnowbird, Aspen/Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Mammoth, Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, and Whistler Blackcomb. This is for each destination, not each mountain. After you have used your two free days at a Mountain Collective member destination, all single day lift tickets you buy for yourself for the rest of the season will be 50% off. You will also receive access to exclusive lodging deals.

In regards to Aspen/Snowmass, Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, or AltaSnowbird do I get two free days of skiing at each mountain?

You will receive two free days of skiing at each DESTINATION, not MOUNTAIN. For example, you will receive two free days of skiing between Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley, as those two mountains are owned by the same destination.

What lodging deals are offered to Mountain Collective Passholders?

Mountain Collective Passholders get exclusive access to great lodging deals at each of the Mountain Collective destinations. Check out which lodging properties offer deals: Alta, Aspen/Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Mammoth, Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, Snowbird and Whistler Blackcomb.

Can I purchase the Mountain Collective Pass while at a destination?

You can only purchase the Mountain Collective pass online at: http://www.themountaincollective.com/ or by calling us at (800) 705-6286. If you are calling from outside of the United States, please call us at +1-415-366-5768.

How do I purchase a 50% off ticket at each destination?

After you have redeemed your two free days at a member destination, simply go to the ticket window at that destination and they will have your name on file as a member of the Mountain Collective. All tickets you buy for yourself for the rest of the season will be 50% off the single-day ticket window rate for your age group on the day it is used. Discounted tickets must be used on a date that has the same ticket window rate as the date you purchased. These tickets are non-transferable and can only be used by the purchaser.

Are there any blackout dates for redeeming my free tickets or 50% off tickets?

There are no blackout dates! You can redeem these benefits at any member destination any day throughout the 2013-14 season.

Does the Mountain Collective pass work if I only visit one destination?

Typically, if you visit one destination for six days or more the pass will pay for itself.

Is the Mountain Collective membership transferable to another skier if I’m unable to use it after I’ve made my purchase?

No. All benefits of the Mountain Collective are non-transferable.
